Biography

James is Professor and Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Emergency at UC Davis School of Medicine.

He completed his medical degree from the University of Alabama and an emergency medicine residency at UC Davis.

His interests include the initial evaluation and treatment of injured children and the training of the next generation of medical researchers.

James is the Director of the UC Davis CTSC KL2 Research Training Program and the Co-Director of the UC Davis Emergency Medicine K12 Research Training Program.

He has been funded by numerous federal agencies and foundations to conduct research and train future researchers.
