Biography

Mark graduated from Harvard Medical School as an MD in 1996, then trained at the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency program in Boston, graduating in 2000.

He worked both community and teaching hospitals in Massachusetts and New Mexico in the US between 2000-2014.

In June of 2014, he moved with his partner and 3 daughters  to New Plymouth, New Zealand.

Mark currently works at Taranaki Base Hospital Emergency Department.

His teaching and research interests include airway management, shoulder dislocations, and pain management.

Mark enjoys playing acoustic guitar, Asian cooking, running, yoga, ice hockey, rugby, and reading.

He greatly enjoyed attending Developing EM in Cuba in 2015.
