Biography

Mary is a distinguished trauma surgeon.

She is the Director of Trauma at Sydney’s St George Hospital.

From her experiences as a Wing Commander in the RAAF deployed to Afghanistan in 2008, she can drawing parallels between the teamwork in a public hospital with that on the battlefield.

Mary is the Immediate Past Chair of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons NSW State Committee, and was Chair of the NSW Trauma Committee for six years.

Mary has a passion for medical education and runs clinical training for RAAF health staff several times a year.
