I did my residency and ultrasound fellowship at the University of Utah. I’m currently the Director of Emergency Ultrasound and Assistant EM Program Director at the University of Kentucky.

I’m Co-creator of The Ultrasound Podcast, which is downloaded over 40,000 times per month.

I’m also the Co-creator of One Minute Ultrasound Smartphone App (>200,000 downloads), Co-Author of Introduction to Bedside Ultrasound, Co-Director of Castlefest Ultrasound Festival, and Co-creator of Sonocloud.org.

I’m the Co-owner of a 2000 Nissan Xterra, and Co-producer of 2 beautiful girls with my beautiful wife.

When I’m not ultrasounding things I’m hanging out with the girls, running, or biking.
