Ramesh Maharjan

Ramesh is a consultant emergency physician working in Kathmandu, Nepal at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.

He is also an Associate Professor of General Practice and Emergency Medicine and senior advisor to the Nepali government on Emergency Medicine development.

Ramesh is the founder and director of the Nepal Disaster and Emergency Medicine Centre, the Nepal College of Emergency Medicine and the PreHospital Emergency Healthcare Service.

Apart from an established interest in the development of Emergency Medicine in Nepal, he also has interests in emergency nursing, prehospital medicine, and disaster medicine.

Ramesh also has a keen interest in EM research and is the author of multiple articles in international medical journals.
