Biography
Shanaz is an Associate Consultant at Ng Teng Fong Emergency Department with a special interest in critical care medicine.
He graduated from Kings College London, UK in 2007 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
Shanaz subsequently pursued his training in emergency medicine and is currently a Fellow of the College of Emergency Physicians, Singapore.
He is currently pursuing a fellowship in Intensive Care Medicine with the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand.
Shanaz also has a keen interest in the education of junior doctors as well as the use of simulation as an adjunct to clinical education.
He is a Critical Resource Management Instructor as well as an instructor in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and the Basic Assessment and Support in Intensive Care (BASIC) course.
