Stephanie was an enthusiastic part of our faculty for last years’ conference in Havana, and this year she brings that enthusiasm to the production of a 2 day ultrasound workshop with the team from Ultrasound Podcast.
Since completing a pediatric residency she has worked to develop and increase the use of point of care ultrasound in order to improve the care of children worldwide.
Stephanie has published extensively on pediatric POCUS and edited the first pediatric pointofcare ultrasound textbook “Pediatric Emergency and Critical Care Ultrasound” (Cambridge, 2014).
She was part of the workgroup that recently published the pediatric POCUS policy statement.
She is currently the CoDirector of Pediatric Emergency Ultrasound and PEM Fellowship Director at New York Methodist Hospital, Brooklyn, NY.
Stephanie is currently the ACEP Emergency Ultrasound Pediatric Subcommittee chair and is on the WINFOUCS Board of Directors.
Whilst she’s not ultrasounding tiny humans, Dr. Doniger is addicted to being underwater and scuba diving. Above water, she enjoys winetasting and doing triathlons, especially when they’re combined.
Its awesome to have her back for DevelopingEM 2016.
